Built from frustration,
shaped by community
It started with a simple need: finding someone nearby to help with everyday tasks. The big gig economy apps felt impersonal and overpriced. Asking on social media was awkward. And the people who could actually help — neighbors just a few blocks away — had no way to know I needed them.
So I built HandIt!: a platform where communities can easily help each other. Whether you need someone to assemble furniture, walk your dog, teach you a skill, or just borrow a drill for the afternoon — there's probably someone nearby who can help and would love to earn something for it.
Every line of code — mobile, web, backend — was written by one person, with one goal: create the app I wished existed.

I'm a software engineer who got tired of seeing communities disconnected from each other. People need help every day — and there are people nearby who can provide it and would love to earn for it. The only thing missing was a bridge.
HandIt! is that bridge. I designed, developed, and launched every part of it: the iOS and Android apps, the web platform, the backend, the credit economy, and the infrastructure — all as a solo project.
My goal is simple: make it as easy to ask a neighbor for help as it is to text a friend.
